Starting September 11th, in order to continue offering you an optimum experience, our booking system will evolve from a specific booking time towards a 10-minute range.
Why is it changing?
Our ambition is to guarantee you 0 delays on your bookings. With this new system, we can ensure all bookings will be on time.
How does it work?
From now on, when you book a ride in advance, the time at which you request your booking will be within a 10-minute range. For instance, if you book a ride for 2 PM, your booking range will be from 1:55 PM to 2:05 PM.
The good news is that you can still enjoy 5 minutes of waiting time free of charge from the moment your driver reaches your starting location. For instance, if you booked a driver between 11 to 11:10 AM, and your driver gets to your location at 11:03, you will have 5 minutes of waiting time free of charge until 11:08. If your driver reaches your pick-up location before the scheduled range, your waiting time will not start until 11:00.
If necessary, you can still cancel your booking up to 30 minutes before the beginning of your ride.
Booked a ride before the launch of this new system? No worries, your booking will go ahead as normal. The exact time you asked for a driver will simply be right in the middle of your 10-minute range. (For instance, if you booked a driver for 2 PM, your new range is from 1:55 to 2:05 PM). You will receive an e-mail as well as a push notification/text message to confirm your driver’s ETA.
Any suggestions on how to improve our service? We work hard every day to optimize your experience with Chauffeur Privé, and your feedback is of prime importance to us !
